Master keying cam lock's

Chicago and National both can be master keyed. I would check price and availability of the locks and the keying kit with your distributors. If you only need a few locks it might be a lot cheaper to buy the locks already MK'd rather than buying the kit. All things being equal, I suspect the Chicago kit might be the first one to buy.

The way MK'ing wafer locks works is that the keyway accepts blanks with the blade on the left and on the right and the tumblers have a left and a right value so the proper tumbler can be slected for either the MK or the change in each position. Once you get the kit it is easy to see how this is done.

Chicago uses depths 1,3 and 5 for locks that are MK'd, National uses depths
