I have an older Meilink safe that my grandad bought back in the mid 60's. It has double doors is about 72 inches high 24 deep and 44 wide. It has always been used in our family buisness and until recently we all used it until my father had the combination changed. My question is this. the combo is a 4 number code. (example 12-26-50-0) If the combo was changed would the same numbers have to be used but perhaps placed in a different order? (example 26-50-12-0) Or could it be changed to any random number?

no, could be a "random number"
I would qualify this to exclude a few numbers but only a very few, this is for technical reasons, giving you almost a million possible combinations.
Thanks all !
