Rekeying Weiser Knobset

Greetings Group, having just completed a locksmithing course, my brother whose house has seven doors and 4 different keys, asked me if I could rekey some of the locks. I offered to take a look but after taking the Weiser knobset (WA Series)off the door I was unable to further disassemble it and remove the cylinder (the course used the Kwikset knobset). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Locksmithing Institute course and it doesn't even explain how to do a Kwikset key in knob lock. You'd think since they don't teach crap about automotive locksmithing they could teach more about residential work. Thank goodness there's a couple of locksmiths I talk to on Yahoo Pager that are willing to walk me through that kind of stuff.

HPC makes a fairly nice set of hollow followers which do a good job. At least they used to....

The plastic that is used for the cylinders is Delrin 3, which a Weiser rep tells me is the same plastic that the astronaut helmets were made from. He assures me that it is self lubricating, and never needs lubricant. Well, from the field let me assure you he's incorrect. Most of those plastic cylinders need lubricating.
