There were several listings on Ebay for them but I need only one. Not several. Thanks Bob AZ snipped-for-privacy@aol.com

Any safe dealer or locksmith supplier should be able to get you one; they're fairly cheap. (I think I paid about $2.50 last time I had to pick one up retail, though that was a few years ago.)

A word of warning....

If you've never changed a safe combination before, let me give you some advice (and no, I'm not going to try to discourage you).

When you do it, try the new combination AT LEAST 5 times before you close the door. That way it you screw it up, it won't have to be opened before the problem can be fixed. (Much cheaper... $$$ By hundreds $$$.)

Good luck

had a Remington Rand file cabinet.. at an OLD school no less, yesterday..

no combo BUT, the door was OPEN.. (dial wouldnt turn, either)

time to get combo? 5 minutes.. time to INSTRUCT HOW to use combo? 15.. I made em do it 5 times, and THEN, locked the door OPEN, so the others could try it too..

they had a second one they wanted a lock on as well, and this had been disabled.. parts removed.. new lock, new combo, and instruction time? 2 C notes.. AGAIN, the door was OPEN.. easily fixed..

What Mr. DeWeese says is true -- there are several really easy ways to lock yourself out of a safe. The couple dollars you save on a locksmith might be far more expensive when you need to call a safe man to get you back in.

Most locksmith wholesalers oughta have S and G change keys. I got one 20 years or so ago, and still have it.
