Algor question

I am wondering if anyone has any experience of running Algor with

64bit vs 32 bit. We've been told by Algor reps that there is a "great improvement" but I take that with a grain of salt. I would like to know if anyone has actually tried it and could pass on their expirience to myself. Another question, has anyone tried Algor under Vista?

In general, Algor is a FEA package that does Pre and Post processing as well as the FEA based calculations. I do not use Algor, but do use 64 bit processing for FEA. I am assuming that you are intending to use Windows XP Pro x64 Edition as your OS, and a single processor.

Thanks for the input. We are looking at a system with higher functionality so the added memory availability will be a plus. And to answer my own 2nd question, the release v20 of Algor is Vista compatible.
