Look at the Edinburgh Engineering Virtual Library for a collection of sites. Go to
formatting link
and under Access Subject areas pick Engineering. Then on the Subject Guide pick Mechanical Engineering and Related Industries.

you can go to the mit open courseware, you'll find mechanical eng notes over there...
