Actually, BNSF employed about 500,000 people 50 years ago. They employ

200,000 today. So the number of railroad workers is shrinking. i

Ok but what I'm thinking is that the UAW has lost as lot of members/market share in the face of larger numbers of employees in their industry. I expect that this might continue.
