For Sale- Lincoln Idealarc 250 welder

"This welder sells new for $1600" ... the thing is an antiquity. I have the same welder in my garage, must be 30+ years old. They come up on craigslist for a fraction of what gummer expects.

Got a cite? Im asking $350. New leads, new stinger, has the factory cart. Used but rebuild ground clamp Replaced the caps, cleaned up the switches (removed and burnished clean), sanded and painted with Epoxy.

New version, square cabinet, same guts, no leads, on cart. $650

A new one. $1500

A used one, no leads, no cart, looks like factory surplus, $250

The little "home shop" version...which is at Home Depot. Has a 10% run rate. 10' leads, no cart. $546.00

So..whats that "fraction" you were babbling about?

Regarding your pile, it can be seen through the spray paint that there's a large blackened area on the front, at the upper left. Was it in a fire?

Hummm...lets see....I did get red paint on the rubber tires if that will help you. And the power cord is only 15' long. Oh..and I got a couple runs in the paint on the far side. And I managed to splash a couple drops of red paint on my shop boots during cleanup.

I'm just really upset about the paint job. If gummer would redo it, say, bright metallic green with a white racing stripe, then I think I'm ready to buy.

Keep a close eye on them. They do go bad. Then you'll have to decide, fix them with a $99.99 box that has 30-year old faded paint, or a $350 box with the runny new paint.
