Fuel gas connections are left hand thread- O2 is right hand. That is on the COUPLER. The pipe connections to the regulators are all right hand thread.. It would be possible to connect a propane regulator to an oxy tank using the oxy tank connector but it would be VERY DANGEWROUS. connecting pressurized oxygen to a regulator with NY flamible gas or oil in it can resulkt in the regulator detonating.

That's sort of my point: you cannot "accidentally" hook fuel gas tanks to oxygen systems, and vice versa. One does not simply "accidentally" contaminate a bottle of O2.
OTOH, you can't make things idiot proof, because idiots are ingenious little buggers.
I have to proofread better, and mabee go to bed earlier. Fat Finger Syndrome strikes again - - - - - with ANY flamable gas -and DANGEROUS can result in the regulator detonating

Allowing any flammable material to be in contract with 100% O2 is a bad thing. And that includes greasing / oiling the connectors.
