Have 4mm grid paper - need metric Architecture's scale

Argle-bargle.

I've a bunch of 4mm grid paper (size A4 for those who care). 4mm grid means that it is not an integer fraction of a centimeter, nor an inch. Trying to find drafting scales which will work with this - not happening. If I want to print out graph paper, yes, if I want 4mm model railroad plans, yes. But scales? No such luck.

Anybody have any comments about metric architectural scales, and where to get same? (In the states, preferably.)

Quick question: Why aren't you using a CAD program?

"But I have all this lovely graph paper." Actually, I am relearning AutoCAD (faster than starting over with an entirely new, if free, package). But sometimes it is faster to sketch on paper, or seems so. And I have all this graph paper. Did I mention that it was free?

Hmmm, will have to look more closely. Thanks.

What's the problem? Metric is easy, just divide by 10, right?

I probably don't understand the problem here, but my Dietzgen architectural scale is in fractions (of an inch, etc.), but I have two Dietsgen metric *engineering* scales. Is there something different about a metric architectural scale?

If you can't find a metric engineering scale but want one, I'd part with one of mine. I doubt if I'll ever have a use for them again.

Just use a 5/32 inch scale. It should be close enough. LOL.

It won't get any cheaper than this:

Grok that. I have the free graph paper maker software. Some day, I'll start using the BobCAD tutorials and learn BobCAD and BobART, which I've already paid for. Now that I'm almost retired, that's the plan, after I redo the roof with solar and water heater with a li'l

900w 24v element in one hole. I poured an 8-battery platform out back last week and will build the vertical box this weekend. I'll put up the solar racking either this week, if slow, or on Sept 1 if I keep busy. After that, it's all my time. I'm shutting off a month early. Damn, this old bod gets sore doing this crap...

Jewelcome.

Today was watching the pros put the heatpump in. And looking for the saw horse legs. They'll show up, some day. Probably after I replace them.

After they left (and the check turned out to be less than I was expecting. "Bob goofed." Yeah, Bob.) seeing if I can salvage the rose bushes which had to come out. Eh, if they survive, they survive. If not, I'll plant new ones. It's a work in progress.

The very hour you buy them, I'm sure. That's how it works here.

I recently bought rose seeds. None came up. Grrr.
