Having trouble finding a rewinder (good one ) for uk model hlv with

220 volt feed motor or finding spare will ship if necessary

if you know of decent reasonable priced rewinder please email me.

I believe Bodine made all the feed motors for Hardinge; have you tried contacting them to see if they can repair the motor? They may have parts to repair it rather than rewinding, which I've found to be very expensive for small DC motors. I think most general rewinding shops send this sort of thing out to specialists.

Also, make sure that the motor really needs a rewind. After getting a price of $700 for a new motor, and not much less for a rewind for my Feeler HLV-H clone feed motor, I discovered the problem was with the commutator connections and not the windings themselves. A few hours under a stereo microscope with dental tools and a soldering iron took care of it.
