To the contrary, Kevin. Your posting will be very welcome.

I assume you've also found "alt.machines.cnc"?

Why don't you ask us, instead of spamming us and hoping it's OK? Your tactic strikes of the "Mom, can I go to Billy's house? (where are you?) I'm at Billy's house" method.

Hi Dave,

My apologies for the bad etiquette - it's been a long time since I've used usenet groups. Did not mean to offend!

Ah, it's refreshing to see that your churlish manner hasn't left you while I was gone, Dave. We all like to see some thread of consistency in our environment.

Kevin, meet the class crank...

Well, okay.... But don't do it again, young man... ;-)

Hate to open a can of worms, but No Top-posting. This isn't "Jeopardy" - the questions come before the response, not after. (Post above fixed if only for my own sanity.)

Feel free to hang out and contribute when you can, then there are far fewer complaints about the occasional self-serving 'Help Wanted" ad. (Some people have to complain about everything, that can't be helped.) We get into discussions about aero engines and turbines occasionally.

Umm.. excuse me, but Kevin's post was on topic. That wasn't spam. It was totally related to metalworking, and in an interesting field to boot.

Kevin, Don't mind the whiners, there are some who simply *have* to cry foul on anything. Your post was very on topic imho.

Perhaps he should have included a magic word in order to get your approval of his post, eh Dave?
