South Bend Form 905G seen here at

formatting link
the parts of the horizontal drive for my 10K.

The drive balances on a spring, which has a little cap (#48) on it,part number PT4135K1, which was missing when I got the lathe. I made up a working replacement but would like to know the "proper South Bend" part dimensions (diameters, thickness).

Could a member with the same hor.rear drive please post the dimensions necessary to duplicate the part? I emailed LeBlond a few days ago, but no reply yet. thanks in advance Peter M.

You can't get ANY parts for that particular drive. OSHA banned them years ago because you have to reach over the spindle to get to the control levers. The cap is .935 diameter and .090 thick. The spigot is .59 diameter and .260 thick. Total height is .350.
