OT-- Any of you guys using a "man purse"?

I use a WWII gas mask bag for my outdoor excursions fitted out with appropriate gear. The one strap "teardrop" style knapsacks from LL Bean (and others) are very practical for places where the gas mask bag would be inappropriate.

You might also look at a flight helmet bag from a surplus store.

"Possibles Bag" from the blackpowder crowd come in a variety of styles too.

Just think of the auto spry can of Dykem ink - over the stealing hand/arm :-)

Maybe remote control with the toys of today - like a car lock switch... Might be fun to watch!

I donated mine to Goodwill a while back when I tried one on and found that I could get my arm about halfway down the sleeve.

Actually, those are Home Depot fake (small) carabiners. But I do have real carabiners, where I am more concerned about the load-carrying capability. The fake ones are nice for hanging keys from my belt, at least. :-)

Hmm ... I no longer fit into my 70s clothes -- but I probably still have some of them around. :-)

Or grab a trick from Uncle Samuel: Load Bearing Equipment. Comes in Desert Tan, Dark Green and the ever popular Formal Eveningwear Black (goes with just about everything.)

I used to just carry everything in a variation of book bag with shoulder strap. But even then, there was more stuff being carried than used. "The twelve tribes of Israel took less with them when they left Egypt!"
