Somebody just responded to my post on another thread but I cannot see the post he is responding to. That post I sent twice because I did not think it got through. Neither one is showing. I worded the two posts slightly differently and the response is to the first one.
I do not cross-post.
I am not sure what to make of it.
Further to my reply: I think the problem is my news reader (Windows Live Mail). I looked at the group with WinVN and all my posts are there. Why the newsreader is not retrieving and showing my posts is a mystery.
Check your kill filters.
Don't have any. In any case I cannot fathom why the filter would reject my own messages and even then only some of them.
I see people have similar problems who didn't even know what a kill filter was, who had accidently added themselves to the filters.
FWIW, I am reading this NG through eternal-september.org's news feed using Windows Live Mail and it works fine, so there is something misconfigured
