Bullshit. Sometimes a new hire is more productive than the guy who was there for 15 or more years. I've been threatened with physical violence for outworking the old timers, and producing better work. One job took the 'expert' 7.5 hours per unit. They only took me 18 minutes.
Then they get upset when the company has to close for good. :(
I guess they haven't figured out a way to extort enough money from Apple.

In my shop I would have just grabbed a hot soldering iron, which also cauterizes the wound after you fill them with hot lead (and tin).
I had one drunk jump six feet backwards when I lunged at him with one of my Weller SP23 irons. I wonder how far he would have gone if I was using my SP175 iron at that time? ;-)
