OT: Newsgroup for carbon fiber and/or fiberglass fabrication?

This group seems to have experts on everything cool, so I figured I'd see if anyone here knew of good forums of any kind (Usenet or otherwise) for folks learning how to do their own carbon fiber and/or fiberglass.

Heck, *must have* book recommendations are welcome, too. The specific task at hand is making things like race car body parts and wings.

_Competition Car Composites: A Practical Guide_, by Simon McBeath. It's about making things like race car body parts and wings from carbon fiber composites, in a garage-scale operation. Very good introduction with much practical advice. $26 on Amazon.

I wish to learn more about glassing and composites and was just looking at that page/book over the weekend. Perfect timing, David. Alas, it wasn't in our library system, though it's cheap enough.

That looks like maybe an 8-page insert for a 3-ring binder.
