Two killed, one hurt in Arden Arcade shooting By Bill Lindelof snipped-for-privacy@sacbee.com Published: Monday, Aug. 31, 2009 - 7:59 am
Witnesses said a 26-year-old man who lives in a second-story apartment was involved in the shooting, and deputies quickly found him. He had injuries to his face and was taken to a hospital for treatment before being interviewed about his possible involvement in the violence.
That interviewing continues, and detectives "will determine what course of action to take," authorities said.
Detectives say witnesses told them that three men confronted the
26-year-old man outside a second-story apartment and a fight began.
The man retreated into his apartment, causing the trio to break in and continue the assault. During the fight, the suspect picked up a handgun and shot all three.
