The person who wrote the auction description is so illiterate that it is hard to believe that the auction is genuine.

His feedback is also unimpressive.

Where the hell do you park it?

Did you notice the helicopter parked in front of the house?

Hmmm, don't see it. I see the helipad looking structure in front and a few cars in the driveway and "parking lot", but no helicopter. I think I must need glasses.

WOW! Way cool.

That round circle in the back...skeet range? Heliport?

Gunner

Leftwingers are like pond scum. They are green, slimy, show up where they are not wanted, and interfere with the fishing.

Heliport. I expect people throwing lead (or steel) in the air in the close vicinity woule be rather frouwned upon, what with the rather obvious airman living there :)

I missed the staff meeting but the minutes show Gunner wrote back on Sun, 27 Mar 2005 10:15:03 GMT in rec.crafts.metalworking :

In the hanger, where else?

Just move the stuff inside to one side, just like you do for in the garage.

He bought that Connie (48-609) in 1984 and sold it three years later without restoring it. It was a sister ship to President Eisenhower's "Columbine II" (48-610) which is restored and on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton. After Travolta sold 48-609 to a private group it was restored and has been in airshows since 1992.

There are a few survivors:

The NMUSAF has a second one, tail number 555 but I don't know if it's been loaned out or is at the museum. Have not seen it for a while.
