Maybe he's on to something...I mean, if you just have one it's much harder to lose. Or win, depending on how well you start.

I know! The new dueling fashion will be one pistol and a silver dollar. Flip for it and whoever wins the toss just gets to shoot the other one. Forget all that tiresome pacing...
According to Bill Kehm :
Beautiful -- but the image name is actually "PISTOL.JPG" -- and yes, case *does* matter when I'm trying to access it from a unix system.
Is it a full-sized one, or scaled down? There is no clue in the photo as to the actual size -- since all of the accessories could have been scaled at the same time.
And what caliber?
I did, indeed.
Thanks, DoN.
That is gorgeous. I don't think I've ever seen stainless polished out that well. Congratulations, that must have been fun.
Now please take that camera and take pictures of your engines. The other ones were pretty low resolution and grainy.
Great work.

A "good" set of dueling pistols are sighted in about two feet to the right or left of the target. The owner is the only one who knows the correction factor.

The bore is drilled on an angle so it cant be noticed.
