August 28, pizza delivery man Brian Douglas Wells was allegedlylocked into a bombing device by a stranger and ordered to rob a bankbranch just outside Erie, Pennsylvania. When he was detained by statepolice following the robbery, the bomb exploded, killing himinstantly.Following a preliminary investigation of the case by a multi-agencylaw enforcement task force, many questions remain. Specifically,information is sought about any aspect of the triple-banded metalcollar that was locked around Wells' neck and about the lock that keptit in place.On behalf of the task force, the FBI requests the public to carefullyscrutinize the pictured photographs of these objects. What the media is not saying about this is the PA State Police cuffed him and sat him down on the groud for more than 20 minutes before it went off. He knew how much time he had and all they would do was talk.

Just a speculation here. If the bomb was triggered by a ticking clockwork, could they have just wet him down with a hose to kill the mechanical timer? Too simple?
