CNC books for beginners?

Santa has kindly asked what I would like him to bring me, anyone any suggestions on useful books for learning the basics of CNC machining/programming (esp. milling?) This is for bedtime reading after evenings spent disembowelling the new toy (Bridgeport series 1 with dead controller)

Thanks Tim
