Inconel scrap

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a source of Inconel (or Hastelloy, other nickel-based alloy, or Monel) scrap, for machining tests, bodging and the like? Willing to exchange beer tokens. Any size/shape considered.

Thanks

your looking for a scrap nuclear reactor, or just the odd aircraft part?, last time i was in wiggins, asked did they have any scrap, no it only comes with the paper work to show that its tested and approved, they will sell small quantities,

Just the odd aircraft part - or better, the bar-ends of someone who uses Inconel to make aircraft parts. Or oven furniture. Or whatever.

And with a tested and approved price tag ..

I'm looking for some small stuff to practice on, and maybe do some bodge-work with. Paperwork not needed. Sized-to-order not needed.

good to know.
