Wanted: Simple machining (2 axial holes in round bar)

Wanted: Simple machining (2 axial holes in round bar)

o 6cm-long round-bar o Axial 5mm hole 3cm-deep one end o Axial 11mm hole 3cm-deep other end

Usage: Slip 10mm (10.45mm) nylon rod in one end, drill into it with 4.4-4.6mm drill the other end. Vis., handheld-drill-press.

T304 would be nice, but plain steel is easier to drill.

Q: Anyone out there able to do such?

---- ideally I'd like 1 with 5mm hole, 1 with 3mm hole

Email snipped-for-privacy@ntlworld.com

Thanks.

Yes can do quite easily but you haven't specified the diameter of the bar.

BTW only dressmakers and BBC employee's use the term cm. Normal people use mm up to 1m and them metres and millimeters after that.

Diameter of bar?

Quantity?

303 or 316 might be more readily available.
