copy proe files without intralink

Feb 19, 2004 2 Replies

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had any experience copy Proe drawing, parts, assemblies and family table info without the use of Intralink.

Thanks in advance,

Tom Oshinsky

Long time ago, but I think the safest way was to open the assembly and use File/Backup from the top level drawing, so as to keep all the links.

If you are trying to copy the seembly with the intent of renaming it and doing some slight changes, Pro-e will allow you to rename the components in the assembly when you do a 'save a copy' of the assembly.

Also, when this happens, if the components and the drawings of the components/assemblies have the same file name, they will also be copied.
