PDM systems

Does anyone know of a cheap, windows-based PDM system for eg managing the .prt files of assemblies in Pro/E?

Hallo Matthew, what are you interisted in (your needs)? - What about connectivity to systems like SAP? - external customer (integration from eg sales, purchasing)? What do you mean with cheap? Are you looking for a program that manages only Pro/Engineer Files?

- Look at Pro/Intralink. It cost same as Pro/E Advanced Foundation (per license). But it is not a real PDM system. It is more workgroup releted. It is possible to save other data (Word, Excel, TIFF, PDF) in it.

- This is not the main use. All other Products (real PDM) like Windchill are more expensiv.

- It depends from your needs how complicate the setup is If you use Oracle 9i as Database you can save some mony at the PTC stuff (Pro/Intralink ore Windchill).
