Can ABS plastic be (easily) glued to PVC ? What kind of solvent/glue = should be used ?=20

Thanks ! JCD

should be used ?

Cool! I was hoping that would be the answer! Thanks again - JCDeen

Sure. There is an all-purpose ABS/PVC solvent cement available at most home improvement stores. Look in the plumbing/irrigation section.

It's called a transition cement, because it's used in the transition between ABS and PVC pipe (which is common). It works because there are several chemicals common to both types of plastics that act as solvents.
