Are there any good places in San Diego to get electronic components .. resistors, ic's etc .. besides radio shack.

My favorite haunts:
Gateway Electronics (Kearny Mesa) Industrial Liquidators (Clairemont Mesa) California Electronics, Murphy's Surplus (El Cajon)
All of these are surplus outfits. You can find the prime retailers in the Yellow Pages under Electronics. There's Mouser, for example. You shop by catalog (it's HUGE) or online, but I believe they have a will-call desk.
