Attn Oregon model rocket flyers...

I've started a new mailing list specifically to hook up people and resources in Oregon specifically interested in model (as opposed to high-power) rocketry. Most everyone I talk to at launches and on-line complains about limited launch opportunities and access to local launch sites. That's never going to change as long as we simply ride the coat-tails of the high power folks.

The first step is to get as many low power flyers (and hobby shops, teachers running school programs, etc.) together as possible and get them talking. This list is a (small) first step.

This will also be a place to find local launch announcements, club notices, hobby shop reports, to discuss local laws relating to rocketry, and to share photos of local events.

If you're in Oregon and have an interest in model rocketry, please drop by the web page and sign up. For now, small list, low traffic to clog up your mailbox. Hopefully that will change, but it could be a while.
