a3-0/a3-2t/a3-4t/a3-6t) ..

trains.....so people would stock up on the 0 engines

Back in the mid 70s AVI had a line of "gold series" motors, in 9mm, 18mm,

24mm and 33mm. They all had seperate delay/ejection modules slip fit and epoxied into the motors. They were never availabel as separate user assembled parts, but they were made as 2 pieces then assembled.

The only hazard I see in your draft is "WHERE THE EVENT IS SCORED ON ABSOLUTE PERFORMANCE" for which long-haired & long-winded discussions may result... As if that never happens...

The alternative would be to spell out what exactly those events my be effected, perhaps by expanding the Return Rule table towards the back.

Either way I'd support your draft and would urge contest fliers in our club to do so too.

Andy

I guess this is the basis for the rule that I was looking for; i.e. trying to understand the purpose of this requirement. I can see where this might enter as a factor into regular scale and sport scale too (i.e. motors that fit into scale-sized nozzles), so in retrospect it's probably not a good idea to remove the requirement.

Duly noted, with apologies to the spot landing cham-peens out there. ;O)
