He did not deliver what they ordered. 5 HPR magazines. He delivered 5 (crippled size, pages, colors, content) magazines but the content was useless to HPR buyers.

Don't forget the NAR had an editor of Sport Rocketry for a couple years who had great visions and no fiscal sense. He spent the magazine into hock to the point that it took several years of work by Tom Beach and the NAR BOT to get back on track, but ever since then, Tom has been able to aff to the magazine while still staying on budget and on time.

It takes self control and a careful eye from above. Tom and the NAR have it, and the NAR BOT wasn't afraid to boot someone who was out of financial control. TRA doesn't have it, and never did. Sadly, it now looks like ER doesn't have it either.

Guilty until proven innocent, eh?

Sounds like a plan. Any one that didn't get the promised number of HPR issues that you were paid for in the past, write TRA for a refund. I suggest you also copy your state attorney general and the postal inspectors.

Sounds like the BOD failed in its fiduciary duty to specify the level of product to be provided. i.e Quantity and frequency AND content and size as before. And NO bogus double issues.

Thanks for the update George. I remember Todd from the Ed LaCroix days too. But with Tom in the foreground it's easy to forget that Todd is just as important inthe final product as Tom is. My thanks to BOTH Todd and Tom for a fine job. ANd my thanks to the NAR BoT for recognizing the previous problem and fixing it before the last editor could do to SR what the current HPR editor has done to a once fine publication.

They were but, that's no longer the case. Now HPR gets it all as soon as you pay TRA for it. (as soon is defined as within a month)
