Sunday Launch

Hello,

The next CATO launch is scheduled for Sunday, April 18th, at the Sterling, CT field, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is a Saturday (April 17th) back-up date.

PLEASE NOTE: Recent heavy rainstorms have left a lot of standing water and mud on the field, so PLEASE check the schedule for launch status before making the trip up to Sterling

Treasurer, Ulf Jonsson, plans to bring a portable stove so we can fry or boil the leftovers (or scramble the failures)! Some great kits are available for prizes, so bring that egg lofter!

10:00 to 11:00 a.m.) and to 4000' AGL (from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.). Limits: "K" impulse and rockets must be no heavier than 100 pounds. Flight fees: $5 (members); $10 (non-members). Kids fly free! Directions are available on our site

Hello,

I am sad to announce that the CATO Launch for this weekend is cancelled. Sterling, CT got 4.75 inches of rain this week, on top of

3 inches from last week - the result is a muddy field. Hopefully we'll get to launch again soon!

Hope for a freeze so you can launch on ice!
