Actual r.m.r posters (present or former)... I'd say the first person that should be asked about is yourself.

Who the.....? What the....? Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a problem here. Since I have Jerry in Plonk land, I didn't see this as an original post. Jerry has taken a snippet of someone else's comments and erroneously and purposefully attributed them to me.
Jerry, You are a scumbag of the lowest order. I have you killfiled because you are a pariah on our rocket society. You are a loser, cheapskate, con-man, swindler, shifty-shonk, low life.
Steve Bloom
With a crack like this, Dave, you have just ended all speculation that you might not be a troll. I will no longer entertain you with reasonable posts to try to explain why the rest of the world feel Jerry is a scumbag, liar, traitor, con-man, felon, cheapskate loser.

This material is content from up the line in the same thread that Jerry made up his incorrect quote from. I had to laugh out loud when I read his last line. LOL!
steve
Most of what you post is opinion and speculation. I would say the snippets of Sue McMurray's corresxpondence is at least direct testimony, but the challenges to it on a variety of levels was high even then for good reason.
When do I get my hearing?
Jerry
them to me.
Hmm... Google indicates that the quote is actually from a message last January, in response to a one from you:
From: David Erbas-White ( snipped-for-privacy@arachneering.com) Subject: Re: [TRA motor certs] USR Newsgroups: rec.models.rockets Date: 2004-01-11 22:42:41 PST
So Jerry was wrong about who said it, but "sloppy snipping" seems to be a simpler explanation of the error than "scumbag of the lowest order".

Steve, I wasn't trying to diss you, I was being sarcastic at "Beatle Man" for insinuating that you were just a figment of Jerry's imagination or something. I apologize if it came across the other way round.

It took 20 seconds with google to find this quote attributed to David Erbas-White -NOT- Steve Bloom aka default.
But it could be worse

damn steve: why don't you tell us how you really feel ?

attributed them to me.
yeah that was the dead giveaway...... I mean does anybody that is actually shipping model aircraft parts label them as model aircraft parts? I don't think so.... he might as well have placed a placard that read: Please inspect me..I'm not what I seem to be...
silly silly jerry

And please let me point out the context in which I was speaking - that it appeared (and appears) that Jerry has received 'special' attention (in a negative way) that has not occurred with other vendors, such as Aerotech. I am not, and do not, condone the actions that Jerry has taken in the recent DOT fiasco, and I would point out that in my original quote I made it clear that he could well be going past the 'legal edge'. My point was that as 501(c)3 public-benefit corporations, TRA and NAR have a higher standard to adhere to, and actions they take MUST be open and above board. In my estimation (personal opinion), I've seen several instances of TRA not doing this, and one instance of NAR doing this.
I would add that in the NAR instance, however, given the recent evidence that has come to light in Jerry's DOT case, I may well have been mistaken in my presumption, so at this point I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding it. It wouldn't have bothered me too much, anyway, as I haven't seen any 'pattern' of misdeeds on the part of NAR, while I do see such a pattern (MOSTLY in the past, let's be clear) in regards to TRA. The only 'bone' I currently have to pick with TRA relates to the entire magazine fiasco.
