You know, you have a real good point. They COULD all be liars, just bitterly jealous of Jerry's groundbreaking technical accomplishments and business savvy. Say.... that appears to create an opportunity....for...oh, for example, YOU. Draw up a partnership agreement on the back of one of his old subpoenas, lend him 50 grand and start praying to the ghost of P.T. Barnum, who, if memory serves, once said, .... various stuff. Probably. The biggest jerk, blowhard, braggart, or most obnoxious bigmouthed asshole is pretty reliably going to a be target for abuse in a newsgroup. It's the "code of the West", pardner. Occasionally they get the message and taper off or go away. Some newsgroups go 'moderated'.

And just for the record, I did not state that anybody was,or even might a liar. I said that I can killfile JO if I so desire. Almost all of his detractors hide behind an ever changing litany of fake names. That prevents me from taking part in this forum and killfiling all of the people who post in a manner that does not interest me.

Were I to invest anything in any operation anyplace. I would research it, and check to see the viability, legal and financial. Then make a decision as to whether to engage.

Based on anything I have read that had anything that seemed remotely factual in it, I have come to the conclusion that JI did do something not in keeping with the law. OK, I probably won't buy a motor from him.

You have been around a while, and I bet way more than a few of us newbies/BARs would much rather read about your skills in rocketry,. In fact, I think you engage in a specialty that I want to pursue - flying cameras. It's hard for me to remember as most anything useful gets buried in the noise.

As usual, you are taking liberties with the truth. You are the one who told Ken all was legal. His only fault, as well as others, was believing you. IMO, you should make the best deal you can with DOT and move on. Also, you might want to pray other entities do not decide to screw with you, considering you live in the peoples republic of CA.
