I usually just lurk here but I wanted to say thanks to all the people that were at the SEARS launch yesterday in Samson Alabama. John Stein, Greg Lane, and Jack Kale were especially nice. It was the first club launch I have ever been to and I must say that I had a great time. The field is great and all the people there were very friendly, helpful and patient. I have never seen so many different types of rockets and WOW, the HPR launches were awesome! Many, many, fantastic flights.
I can certainly see why everyone enjoys going to a club event. I have been to very few gatherings of any kind, where all the people there seemed to be having such a good time and were working together, to see that everyone else had an enjoyable experience. A wonderful thing to witness!
