1/48 scale Voison bomber

Hi all:

A few months ago there were adds announcing a kit from Hi-Tech for a

1/48 scale Voison 10 night bomber. This is one of those World War I birds that looks like a bath tub with a kite attached and a motor bolted on the back. I have been fascinated by this bird ever since seeing the one restored by the National Air & Space Museum. Has anybody out there actually seen this kit? It was listed in some Squadron Flyers but has now disappeared completely from the Horizon.

hey, i've seen that. cool plane. nightmare rigging.

"Nightmare Rigging"

I'm told the Gents who did the restoration would agree whole heartedly with that assessment. :-) That said, I am very greatful to them for their hard work. This is a beautiful piece of history and I'm grateful to have had a chance to be able to get a close up look at something I have only been able to read about. It must have been a real experience to have flown one of these birds. As I said, it would be like riding in a bath tub attached to a kite.

or swimming with lead galoshes. where you the one that reccomended the black magic mask for the bv 141? it's cool but wasn't there a caveat?

Sorry! Wasn't me!
