The dreaded Mon-key still haunts the pages of ARC on occasion and dispenses wisdom when smashed outa his skull on banana brew...

As for Dan, who knows? It's been while since we've heard from Mr Winfield...

You don't suppose he cut off the ponytail, repainted the VW and went into hiding, do you? Anything to get the Mon-key off his back. Maybe he is out West looking at buying Williams Bros. just so he can destroy the B-10 masters and molds?

Mine rolled in today! Some low prices on Pegasus WWI kits. Other than that I haven't had a chance to check inside.

Um, I don't think they make any model kits. ;)

It varies by time, type, and manfacturer. You basically need one of the japanese coloration books out there, such as Aviation History Colouring Book Nos. 36, 37 and 40, or 38, 39 and 40 for IJAAF. There are a few other works out there also. If you have specific types in mind, you might state them, and see what folks here can suggest.

You forgot to add:

"Why did (fill in model manufacturer name here) make this wonderful kit with RAISED panel lines. I thought it was a good kit, but with RAISED panel lines, it sucks!"

"Accurate Miniatures going out of business (again)."

"Tamiya 1/48th scale B-17 is due out when?"

"The new Fujimi/Airfix/Hasegawa/Heller kit I got yesterday sucks..." (indivdual not realizing that said kit was released in 1968 or so..."

I sincerely appreciate the advice on IJN Cockpit interiors, I really do. However, as an 8-year+ member of this Group I was responding to the original thread with one of the All Time Great Threads. My question was with tongue planted firmly in cheek.

I will try the Bamboo as that is a new one on me.

I thought the color was Official IJN A Tacky Cockpit Color. ;-)
