Do you mean the old (1970s) Revell diorama-in-a-box? They had several of them: the air racers; a "Battle of Berlin" with a P-47 flying over a downed FW190; a Battle of Britain ME109 flying over a Spitfire in brick reventment; and finally, a Zero flying over a carrier deck with a F4F on it.
Yes, this was a Monogram kit which included a 1/72 P-51 and Bearcat. This kit was released in the late '60s or early '70s and went out of production around 1973 when Monogram changed from the "blue box" to the "white box".

Actually, the Revell air racing diorama had a P-39 and P-51 IIRC.
It was also done in their white box. I have both the blue & the white. Just as an FYI, the P-51 is a B.
