I've ordered the Minicraft planes and I'd like to try my hand at scratch building the bomb bays - just to have something different. The scale is 1/144 so the pics don't have to be terribly accurate but I can't find anything anywhere.
TIA,

If you are interested in the Backfire there are also a couple of books with good photos (and a couple of pics of the bomb bay)
- Tu22 Blinder/Tu-22m Backfire (Aerofax)
- Tupolev Bombers (Airtime?) It's a collection of Tupolev bombers specials (Tu-16, Tu-95, Tu-142, Tu-22/Tu-22m and Tu-160) already published in some WAPJ issues.
Please note that there are some differences between Tu-22m2 and m3 bomb bays: both planes can have racks for "iron bombs" or an attachment point for a semi-recessed K-22 (AS-4 Kitchen), but the m3 can also have a rotary laucher for 6 air to surface missiles (AS-16 Kickback if I'm not wrong).
Hope this helps.
