B-58 Camo

Apr 25, 2004 8 Replies

I have been looking for the TO that showed the Camo pattern for the B-58. And have not been able to find it. I did find and have a TO

1-1-4, but the B-58 is not there. I was hoping that since there was a discussion about that very thing, that someone MAY have a copy of it that they could send me. I would appreciate it as I want to use it to back up a model painted that way as a possible paint scheme used. Thanks in advance. Ron snipped-for-privacy@comcast.net

I have a copy of the subject T.O. camo drawings.

Drop me a line with your snail mail address and I'll send you a copy.

Love the "what-if" stuff.

Aren't the Testors & that aftermarket decal mfr's drawings taken from the TO?

Yep. That's the only place that the color scheme and markings ever appeared. No B-58 was ever done in camo.

You sure? I thought the guy who had a pic of the black B-24 in Viet Nam had a pic of the SEA camo B-58. :)

...sitting next to the operational TSR.2...

:)

Is that the one with the Avro Arrow in the background?

Great job on the model. I had one of those years back and it was a mess.
