The "Royal" designation is being restored to the Canadian Air Force and Canadian Navy effective Tuesday August 16th. Once more the RCAF and RCN will stand guard for thee : )

...now, if they can figure out if it's a CF-18 or a CF-188...or should that be an RCF-18 or RCF-188?..

It depends on how much gold braid the person you're talking to has. If it's one of the pilots or techs, it's a CF-18. If it's someone from NDHQ, it's a CF-188 : P
