They could be, as most of Shep's pieces, be they armor, figures, vignettes or dioramas; are in the hands of private collectors. I personally know at least a dozen people who have a "Shep" in their collection.
No wonder you have such a suspicious nature... ;-p
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you ;-/
