V-2 Missile of WWII - Revell 1/69 scale plastic model kit from 1960

The German V-2 missile was used as a "terror" weapon toward the end of WWII.

The first ballistic rocket and the first spaceship. Despite thousands being launched at England and Antwerp (the main port for allied supply in 1944), it had very little effect on the war effort. After WWII, captured German V-2's were used for scientific purposes by the United States in it's fledgling space program.

Bagged kit. Has all original parts. Kit includes launch pad and trailer. Some of the small hand grips are broken, but these can be easily fabricated from wire, or staples.
