Instructions have the star in both upper and lower side of port wing, shouldn't it be top starboard and bottom port? Thanks Jose

According to my Profiles Book, the P-47D-20 Had the star on the port side upper and BOTH sides lower. If you click on:

Thanks John. It seems there were many variations, in the end for this particulat aircraf it is upper port lower stardboard.
