Herman Graf's Fw-190A5

I have one of the relatively new Eduard 1/48 scale Fw-190A5 kits and decals for Herman Graf's aircraft. I thought I saw somewhere a while ago where one of the resin makers had done cowl side inserts with the extended supercharger intakes for this kit but I can't remember who did them and can't seem to find them anywhere on the web. Can anyone point me to these?

The 1/72 Focke-Wulf Fw190A-5 Special of Herman Graf by Hasegawa has included as an extra the resin supercharger intakes for this kit but no manufacturer is given even though they are in a separate package in the kit. As far as I know these are the only resin cowl side inserts available, though they are of course 1/72 not 1/48. Maybe this was what you were thinking of. Derek Shaw

These may have been what you are thinking of, but they are in 1/32 scale:

Thanks. I saw the 1/32 set and have ordered that for the Hasegawa kit. I was sure I'd seen a pair in 1/48 scale but, perhaps you are right and I was, in fact thinking about them being 1/48 scale. I know the old DML 1/48 scale A5 has side cowls with swappable inserts for the intake scoops and a dist filter (I just looked at the one in my stash this afternoon) but I don't want to pull them out to use on the Eduard kit. I guess I can use them as a guide and - gasp, horror of horrors.....scratch-build the intakes. ;~)

I was surprised to see that Eagle Editions didn't make a set in 1/48 - they were the first to spring to mind.

I seem to recall seeing a set in 1/48 myself, but I couldn't locate it either.
