I checked with HL. Their 50% sale is site dependent, i.e. on a store by store basis. Online orders are NOT subject to HL discount policies. Discounts apply to walk in customers. You may be able to get someone to shop for you and handle the transaction by mail, however HL limits discount merchandise to stock on hand. My luck has not been any better than purchasing the kit at the local hobby shop relative to cost. On the whole, I would have been better off ordering direct from squadron. I hope your luck will be better, as your mileage may vary, people forget, and not everyone acts in good faith. Regards, Bruce

I checked the HL in Bettendorf, IA, and there's no sale there either. HL in general is about due for one though, either advertised or via coupon.
