I'm really starting to hate you guys, simply because of your geographic location... Happy Thanksgiving. Grrrrr...

I dropped by my local HL and found nothing new or that I couldn't live without. I did find a 50% off sale on all brushes, tube and jar acrylic and oil paints. So, I picked up some more Payne's Gray and Burnt Umber oil paints for washes.

I may try another store on Friday.

We only have 14 - makes it difficult to decide which one to pillage!

If you are in Colorado Springs, the HL on 8th street is worth the drive. The manager knows modeling. They were well stocked including the Revell big U-Boat and many Hasegawa 1/72 aircraft kits I hadn't seen before. They were also well stocked on 1/32 aircraft if you like working on the bigger ones. The armor and cars were also very well stocked.

You win...we, who are geographically challenged, hate you most of all! ;}

At the risk of rubbing it in, one is two blocks away with one of Atlanta's few remaining hobby shops, the War Room, diretly across the street from the Hobby Lobby.

Hey, I was just lucky. I've been in this house since 1986 - Hobby Lobby didn't show up until long after that. :)
