i'll be visiting both houston,texas and seattle, wash. on vacation this july. are there any "do not miss" hobby shops in those areas or within a days drive?

In the Seattle area, for big, got everything shops, American Eagles in the North end is pretty good, and for "oh, that's interesting" shops, Skyway Hobbies, just south of the city is your place to go.

In Houston, Hobby Island on Richmond, west of central Houston is your best bet. A very good selection of mainstream and limited run kits, paints, decals, reference, and accessories.
