Today at our club meeting raffle I got an ESCI 1/48 F8E Crusader. Much to my surprise, when I opened the box I found the exact same set of decals I had in a Monogram kit. It made me curious, so when I got home I compared the piecesparts to the Mono parts, and lo and behold, same same. What's the connection between ESCI and Monogram?

Probably your 1/48 Crusader is the Monogram kit and decals and only the Esci box. I built the Esci kit years ago and it was a really basic reproduction nothing in common with the much better Monogram F8E! Pietro
I had both...totally diff kits, the Esci was v poor in comparison
