They do look interesting. How much pressure do they exert? Normally I use wooden clothes clamps, and also some of those are modified by reversing the springs to allow for a larger "bite". Are yours similar or stronger? How big across is their "bite"?

I've got clothespin clamps and a collection of other styles as well. The clamp set has a little stronger action but not enough to distort most plastic. The two smaller pairs go to one inch. The needlenose is about four inches. The bar clamps around six. All quite usefull but the bar clamps rule! Cheers,
